The island of Paros in the Aegean Sea is an important maritime hub with numerous connections to other Greek islands and mainland Greece.

The island can be reached in only 3-4 hours by ship from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The closest island to Paros is Naxos, from where frequent ferries and hydrofoils leave to take you to your destination in about half an hour. The island of Mykonos is also very close to Paros: the Mykonos-Paros ferry crossing takes between 40 and 55 minutes, depending on the company chosen.

Many other islands can be reached in 3-4 hours, so it is possible to combine several islands in the same holiday. If you have a lot of time available, you can go as far as Rhodes: the journey time by ship from Rhodes to Paros is 12 hours.
