Paros enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate characterised by hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters. The island benefits from its central location in the Cyclades, which partially protects it from the extreme winds of the Aegean Sea.
During the summer (June-August), temperatures range between 25°C and 30°C, with peaks of up to 35°C on the hottest days. Sea temperatures are around 24-26°C, ideal for swimming and water sports.
Winter has average temperatures of 12-16°C, rarely dropping below 10°C. Rainfall is mainly concentrated between November and March, while summer is almost completely dry.
Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) offer ideal conditions with mild temperatures, moderate winds and a still swimmable sea in autumn.
The hottest months of the year in Paros are June, August and July, when the monthly average temperature reaches 27 °C, while the coldest months of March, January and February the thermometer drops up to 9 °C.
